North Atlantic Releases XTensions for QuarkXPress® 4.0

Concord, MA, April 8, 1998 - North Atlantic Publishing Systems, Inc. today announced the availability of several of its most popular QuarkXTensions® for use with the new QuarkXPress 4.0 release on the Macintosh. These extensions include CopyFlow, CopyBridge, CopyBridge/W Lite, CopyFlow Geometry, and Droplet.

CopyFlow, CopyBridge, and CopyBridge/W Lite automate the batch import and export of text, and the batch import of art into Quark documents. In addition, CopyBridge/W Lite incorporates its own Microsoft Word® filter, which enables tight two-way communication between Word and Quark. This feature also permits the insertion of precise Quark H&J information into Word documents to facilitate the write-to-fit process.

CopyFlow Geometry is used to import Quark page geometry for automatically constructing documents from external sources. It allows users to automate the generation of page layouts, and then to utilize CopyFlow or CopyBridge to flow the text and images into those layouts. A new feature in this release also permits the export of Quark geometry.

Droplet enables pictures and text to be dragged from the Finder directly into art and text boxes in a Quark layout.

All of these extensions are available for immediate delivery. They may be purchased new or as upgrades directly from North Atlantic Publishing Systems.
